Stage 1 / 4 · Kochi-Kotagiri
From Coast to Curves
The expedition commences at 5:30 AM from Kochi, traversing through Coimbatore before ascending toward Mettupalayam. Riders experience their first engagement with the Nilgiri Mountain range through established curves and gradual ascents. The final segment from Mettupalayam to Kotagiri features the day's technical highlights, with consistent elevation gain and mountain road
navigation. Arrival at Kotagiri is anticipated in the evening at altitude. Overnight accommodation and meal arrangements have been pre-established to ensure optimal rest and recovery before Day 2.
This route serves as both an introductory segment and an essential acclimatization phase for the expedition ahead.
Stage 2 / 4 · Kotagiri-Masinagudi-Ooty
Following a restorative morning at Kotagiri, the expedition resumes after lunch toward Masinagudi, navigating through panoramic views. At Masinagudi, riders transition to an off-road jeep trek experience at Vibhoothimalai, offering an immersive exploration of the landscape. The final segment concludes with a ride to Ooty through forested pathways, where evening arrival brings overnight accommodation and rest.
Stage 3 / 4 · Ooty-Attappadi
The morning unfolds in Ooty, allowing riders to explore the highland charm and natural beauty of this mountain sanctuary at leisure. As afternoon transitions to evening, the expedition resumes with a ride toward Attapadi, traversing through dense forests and winding mountain passages. Stage 4 / 4 · Attappadi-Silent Valley-Kochi
