Avid Traveller"If you are looking for a self drive car in Kerala, then look no further than EVM Cars. They are a top notch professional car rental firm. I am saying from personal experience. I landed in Calicut and the car I booked was delivered to me at the airport itself. After tanking up I drove to the city and I realised that there was an issue with the car. I called the service advisor who dropped the car to me and he came within the hour at 11pm in the night, checked the car, called his manager and told me that there is a problem with the car and he would change my car, which he did and upgraded my ride to a VW Vento automatic and told me that they would refund the fuel that I had filled in the Nissan Sunny which I had booked. The VW Vento lived up to it's name and the EVM manager Athul called me the next day to check with me how the car was as he knew I was going to Waynad and wanted to ensure that I had a good driving experience. Their great customer service is an example of turning a breakdown to a positive endorsement for them. The next time I am in Kerala, it's only EVM for me as my preferred Car Rental firm. "Initially we were bit apprehensive renting a self drive car for the first time, that too from a lesser known brand. But we took the leap and it turned out to be fabulous. I had booked Taigun AT via their website. Car was delivered on time in sparkling condition. All paper work was done in less than 10 mins. Car was in good condition. Pick up process also was smooth and over in 10 mins. Deposit refund credited in 2 days post handover without any follow-ups. Would rent again in future !"
